Sleep Country is Canada’s leading mattress retailer, with over 250 stores across the country. This billion-dollar business was built on traditional marketing channels—radio, print, TV—and very little digital presence. Connecting with consumers on social media was a huge, untapped opportunity for Sleep Country. As their trusted and integrated social agency partner, we helped build their social media platforms from the ground up.
After auditing their social performance and identifying major gaps, we developed a social strategy for Sleep Country with three key opportunities: building community through UGC, prioritizing video content, and increasing their social commerce touch points.
We took over Sleep Country’s organic social channels to bring our strategy to life and boost reach and engagement with their audiences. This included ideation for their content calendar, timely activations to capitalize on trending social moments, community management, and digital media buying. We also managed their influencer ads program, totalling 7-figure budgets.
We also helped bring these strategies to life creatively, through detailed planning and execution for social productions that took the “sleepy” out of the traditional Sleep Country brand, and made it (rise and) shine on social.
